THE PURSER'S LEDGER
The purser keeps one ledger for the crossing. This is what is written in it, how long the page stays, and who else reads it.

What is recorded
- The lines you type at the table.
- Voice audio while a hold is open — when the purser has the floor and your microphone is live — and the transcript made from it.
- Face frames only if you consent to the mirror on your own device, and only while it is on.
- The seat you took, the name you gave, and what your character did in the world.

How long it is kept
- The night's record lives in memory for the night and for 24 hours after it ends, then expires on its own.
- The world and any moment you chose to publish live in the database until you ask for erasure.
- Clips and keepsakes live in object storage: a keepsake for as long as you hold it, everything else for 7 days.
- The live room exists only for the session and is torn down with it.
- Server logs follow the cluster's retention and do not contain your audio or your face.

Erasure
- Write to the purser and the record goes: the night, the transcript, the clips, the portrait.
- Nothing you did needs to be kept for the product to work — the world can be re-seeded without you in it.

Who processes it
- OpenAI — the night's reasoning and the characters' lines
- Google (Gemini) — the same, as the fallback engine
- Anthropic — authoring and review of the world, not player data
- Inworld — speech synthesis (the characters' voices)
- Deepgram — speech recognition (your voice becomes text)
- LiveKit — the live room that carries audio between seats
- Decart — the mirror tier, when you consent to it (face frames)
- Scenario — portrait and plate imagery
- MiniMax — moving images
- xAI — an alternate reasoning engine, per-user
